Our Lady of Guadalupe is the only piece of art that I know of that came from a miracle. The original is on a tilma (a peasant cloak or cloth). I was inspired to paint it with just Mother Mary as if it was on the stained tilma. It was amazing to me how it came to life as I painted the stars on her cloak.
